Section 7: Working with Media ComponentsExercise 7-2: Working with the Image RotatorPlease review the tutorials on working with the 'Media Library' prior to updating the Image Rotator components. The Image Rotator / Primary Image Rotator component is included in the 'Alternate' layout. The Secondary Rotator component is included in the 'Secondary' layout. The Image Rotator component is an image gallery component. You can display as many images in the component as you need. Each image can include a description that is displayed when the visitor clicks on the (i) icon while hovering over the picture. One of the reasons we've included this image gallery components is that some folks require more of a 'banner ad' style component with buttons and visible descriptions, while others need more of gallery style component that displays larger 'images'. To really 'add some punch' the Image Rotator uses some nifty 'scripting' and animation to slice up the image during transition, which gives it a very 'high end' effect. The 'Secondary' pages use a smaller header area so a smaller version of the 'Image Rotator' is included in these pages as well. Make sure you've reviewed the 'Media Library' tutorials, and you've uploaded your images. Managing the Image Rotator Component (all versions)
