To start building your product catalog:
The product catalog is created in the Manage Product Catalog panel. This is the first step, the second step is to 'insert' the product catalog into a web page. The catalog can be inserted into 'any' web page. To create a new product listing for your catalog, begin by uploading your product images: (skip the next step if you've already uploaded your product images)
*** NOTE: the catalog will display your image as a thumbnail. The thumbnail is generated by the system, you do not need to resize your image, this is done for you, automatically. When a visitor clicks on the 'thumbnail' the original image is displayed for them at full size. So what ever size image you upload and 'resize' is what your visitors will be seeing when they click on the thumbnail.
Generating Button Code
** NOTE: to create your 'button code', log into your PayPal account, click on the Merchant Services tab, and click on either the 'Buy Now button' link, or the 'Add to Cart button' link .... ** NOTE: To learn more about creating PayPal buttons, you will need to learn from the PayPal website as the information can change at any time and it is beyond the scope of these instructions to provide details on working with 3rd party solutions such as PayPal or other merchant services. PayPal Button Support and Disclaimer** DISCLAIMER ** : It's important to know that we do support our products .. however, creating the button code, or working with any 3rd party solutions ( such as a Merchant Service Provider ) is outside the scope of what we can support... The website that 'creates' the button code, would be the subject matter experts and best troubleshooting source. We just provide the 'platform' to insert the button codes, how to create them, and how to change them is something the provider of that code would need to answer...WE have provided a couple of screenshots to give you a general idea of the steps to creating the product button code through a PayPal account. Your actual PayPal account page may not look the same as these screenshots. These are only examples, learning how to create the 'button code' is something you'll need to learn through your Merchant Service providers website ( Such as PayPal ) .. it's important to note that Luckymarble does not support or provide any support regarding PayPal, generating buttons via PayPal, or any other Merchant Service provider. The Catalog is a feature of the template, and the 'Manage Product Catalog' panel provides an 'html' box where you can 'paste' your html button code. LuckyMarble does not support the creation or function of these buttons. You will need to contact your Merchant Service provider for detailed information on 'creating buttons' and any problems you may encounter through the use of such buttons. |
