Exercise 5-2: The Side Menu

Working with the Side Menu

The 'Side Menu' is a navigational 'widget' that displays a vertically aligned menu bar capable of displaying 'sub' menu's ( or flyout menu's ). You'll see this on many of the 2 columns layouts.

To manage the Side Menu:

click on the 'Navigation' menu
then click on the 'Side Menu' menu

to include a page in the Side Menu widget, just click on the checkbox next to the 'Page name'

**NOTE: to include the 'sub pages' under the 'Parent' page, just place a check next to the child page

click on the Visit Site to preview
click on Save when done
