Section 1: Getting Started with Your Wordpress Theme
Pre-installed by
LuckyMarble
-
accessing your website when installed during purchased
Welcome Folks! Thanks for joining LuckyMarble / i3dthemes! There's just a few
initial steps to go through, to set up your new Wordpress 'Theme' and website.
Once you've gone through the initial setup you can access your website through
your LuckyMarble / i3dthemes members page, or go directly to your website
through your web browser and log in.
BEFORE we go through the installation process, I wanted to share a couple of
'tips' with you that will help you 'get back into your website' once you've set
it up.
- the fastest way to access your website ( wp-admin ) page, is
to go there directly via your web browser..
- just open your web
browser, and type the address (URL) of your website into the
address bar, followed by a forward slash /wp-admin ..
- for our
example site, we would just type in ( www.frazoo.net/wp-admin )

- if logging back in through your members page, just click on
the ( My Web Sites ) tab, then the
icon.

Lets' Get Started! by logging into your members page at LuckyMarble.com
- you can log into the your LuckyMarble.com / i3dthemes.com
members page from this link

- once logged in, click on the My Web Sites tab

- you will see your 'Web Hosting' and Theme listed on the
page, now click on the
icon to 'deploy'
your 'Theme' into your web hosting space
- it may take a few minutes to deploy and install, once the
site is ready you web page will change to the following

- the 'Blog Title' is the same as a 'Website Title' or the
name for your website (very important if you have more than 1
website!)
- now type in a name for the 'Blog Title' ( can be any
name, you can change it at any time through your 'Settings'
panel )
- type in your email address.. ( used for retrieving lost /
forgotten passwords )

- and finish by pressing the 'Install Wordpress' button

- the next page will create a 'Username' and 'Password' for
you. You can change these once you press 'Log in' but for now,
copy the Username and Password to a safe location or copy and
paste into a text file as you'll be needing both the Username
and Password for the next page ( it's a security thing )

- now you'll be viewing the WP-Admin login page, and you'll
need to enter the Username and Password that you copied from the
previous page ( and if you didn't write it down, press the
'Back' button on your web browser
- and if for any reason that doesn't work, there's always the
'Lost your password' link,
- and press the 'Remember Me' link to speed things up the next
time
- and finally, click on the 'Log In' button

- the first thing you should see, at the top of the page is
the 'auto-generated' password reminder.. now might be a really
good time to change your password to something you can work with

- click on the red 'Yes, Take me to my profile page' link to
edit your password
- enter your new password and click on the 'Update Profile'
button when done

- once you click on the 'Update Profile' button, the page
should scroll back to the top, if not, scroll back to the top
and update the rest of the profile information ( might as well
while you are here! )

- when you're done, click on the 'Visit Site' button to
preview your site in a web browser ( just so you can see for
yourself, your site is online! )

and that covers the installation information.. now you're ready to start
editing your website. I would recommend you start with the next section ....
